Aruzhan Zhumabek & klad mineralov @ Prepared Surroundings (29.11.2023 / bULt, Almaty)

The performance is set up around the embroidery process. The artist Aruzhan Zhumabek creates a pattern on the canvas using a conductive thread. The intersection of the thread with certain areas of the canvas provokes the sending of electronic signals that affect the development of a generative composition created in Pure Data. This performance also involves feedback synthesizer improvisation.
